![]() | Beginning in 2003, the Rosary Patch Series will focus each of the next four years on a different set of Mysteries of the Holy Rosary. This is an opportunity for youth and adults alike to learn more about their faith. The requirements for this year's patch can be found here. | ||
![]() | The Golden Bow Achievement Patch may be presented by unit leaders to any Scout who has recruited a new member to a Catholic chartered unit or a Catholic youth to any unit in the past twelve (12) months. | ||
![]() | Certificates from the National Catholic Committee on Scouting recognizing Catholic Scouts who have attained the rank of Eagle Scout are available for $3. Contact Melvin Hart for details, or fill out an online certificate request form. Turn around time is one week. | ||
![]() | The Bishop Morkovsky Award may be presented by the Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting to any Catholic Scout/Venturer between the ages of 14 and 20, in recognition of contributions to the Catholic Scouting Program of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, particularly by participation in DCCS Scouting events, as well as his/her having filled other offices or posts in the Scouting Program. The Golden Bow symbolizes the arrow shot from a bow straight toward its target. The bow represents leadership and charter partners. The arrow symbolizes Catholic Scouting programs. The target, Catholic youth in our communities. | ||
![]() | The Scroll of Honor may be presented by the Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting to any registered active Scouter working with Catholic Scouting in any unit for a period of three years or more for services such as:

| (no image available) | The Bishop's Trophy is presented annually, on Scout Sunday of the following year, to the Catholic sponsored Cub Scout Pack, Boy Scout Troop, and Venturing Crew or Sea Scout Ship in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston that has accumulated the most points during the current year. | ||
![]() | The Gold Medallion Award program is established to identify and recognize the outstanding Catholic Cub Scout Pack, Boy Scout Troop, and Venturing Crew in each of the fourteen Episcopal Regions of the United States. It is also intended to promote the National Catholic Committee on Scouting's initiative to increase Scouting units, youth members, and adult leaders. National Gold Medallion winners epitomize those units that excel at providing youth with quality programs including religious activities, religious emblems participation, outdoor activities, and special events that encompass the religious, vocational, and educational aspects of Scouting under Catholic auspices. | ||
